BIO
American tenor Ryan Smith is a Masters student at Rice University. Mr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Vocal Performance from the University of Oklahoma in May 2025. Mr. Smith has performed roles such as Camille de Rosillon in The Merry Widow, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Remendado in Carmen, Chevalier de Force in Dialogues des Carmélites, and Gonzalve in L’huere Espagnole.

Mr. Smith recently was awarded the Encouragement Award in the Houston District in the Laffant Competition! You can see him in several upcoming shows at Rice University!
